Total Energies va construire le plus grand oléoduc chauffé du monde, 1400 km à travers l'Ouganda et la Tanzanie, chauffé toute l'année à 50°C, détruisant la riche biodiversité locale, accentuant le réchauffement climatique avec les émissions de C02 du pétrole extrait.  

« En comptant les émissions causées par le transport, le raffinage et l’utilisation de ce pétrole, cela engendrera l’émission dans l’atmosphère de jusqu’à 34 millions de tonnes de CO2 par an, soit bien plus que les émissions de gaz à effet de serre combinées de l’Ouganda et de la Tanzanie », fustigent les associations.

Un désastre écologique, environnemental et humanitaire.
