Titre : «Thermomètre de Damoclès»
Tableau (carton entoilé 41 par 33 cm, peinture acrylique) issu de la Période Réchauffement Climatique. Chaque été, le risque d’avoir une canicule est de plus en plus fréquent. Le thermomètre est notre nouvelle menace. Il nous écrase par ses températures extrêmes. On se sent tout petit, insignifiant face à celle-ci. J'avais l'idée avant d'avoir le titre mais le titre m'est venu naturellement, en référence à l'épée de Damoclès qui suspendue au dessus de nos tête et qui peut rompre à tout moment. Le texte sur le tableau je l'ai imaginé comme un slogan, en chanson, dans la même veine qu'Antoine Daniel dans What The Cut sur Youtube qui chante "C'est normal en Russie". Pourquoi 2041, parce que je l'ai fait en 2021, et que 20 ans plus tard ça collait bien, ce futur lointain mais si proche

In 2041
Painting (lined cardboard 41 by 33 cm, acrylic paint) from the Global Warming Period. Each summer, the risk of having a heat wave is more and more frequent. The thermometer is our new threat. It crushes us with its extreme temperatures. We feel very small, insignificant in front of it. I had the idea before having the title but the title came to me naturally, in reference to the sword of Damocles which hangs above our heads and which can break at any time. I imagined the text on the board as a slogan, in song, in the same vein as Antoine Daniel in What The Cut on French Youtube who sings "It's normal in Russia". Why 2041, because I did it in 2021, and 20 years later it fit well, this distant future but so close.
