Le couple d'acteur Clark Gable et Vivien Leigh ils sont incroyables ! Puis il y a les plans en orange et noir tellement puissants, la musique si iconique, les tenues que portent Scarlett au début du film sont magnifiques, justes les couleurs du film, l'un premier utilisant la technologie Technicolore. Et puis il y a la fin, Scarlett a tout perdu, l'amour qu'elle a pourchassé toute sa vie, sa fille est décédée, celui qui l'aime est parti, elle désemparé dans l'escalier et dans le dernier plan elle dit "Demain sera un autre jour" dans un grand sourire, un beau happy ending ! L'actrice qui joue Manny Hattie Macdaniel est la première Afro-Américaine a recevoir un Oscar pour la meilleur actrice dans un second rôle. Mais elle était assise au fond de la salle, l'hôtel interdisant l'entrée aux noirs avaient une exception. C'est en 1940. De plus après la cérémonie les acteurs blancs se retrouvent dans un bar interdit aux noir, McDaniel se voit refusait l'entrée.
