Spoiler Alert ! Mon ressenti avec mes mots, l'histoire avec mes mots. Une comรฉdie triste avec une pointe d'absurde. J'ai beaucoup aimรฉ, le sรฉnario est original, avec de magnifiques plans de paysage. C'est trรจs bien jouรฉ surtout Collin Farrell. C'รฉtait trรจs intรฉressant, รงa montre la solitude sur les รฎles, l'ennui. Padraic vit sur une toute petite รฎle d'Irlande avec sa soeur Siobahn. Il va tous les jours au pub avec son meilleur ami Colm. Mais un jour Colm ne veut pas aller au pub avec lui. Il ne comprend pas. Colm ne veut plus รชtre son ami parce qu'il ne veut plus entendre les conversations idiotes de Padraic, il prรฉfรจre se concentrer sur sa musique pour รชtre souvenu dans 50, 100 ans comme Mozart. Padraic ne comprend toujours pas, il a toujours รฉtรฉ gentil avec tout le monde. Il remarque qu'ils sont le 1er avril, donc il va voir Colm pour lui faire comprendre qu'il a compris que c'รฉtait une blague. Mais non Colm pour รชtre bien compris a menacรฉ de se couper les doigts ร chaque fois que Padraic viendrait lui parler. Il va lui reparler quelques jours plus tard (je ne sais plus trop) pour lui dire que c'est n'importe quoi. Colm se coupe un doigt et le jette sur la porte de Padraic. Il va l'รฉviter mais c'est trรจs difficile pour lui, c'est son meilleur ami, et il n'a que lui ร qui parler sur cette รฎle. Dominic, un marginal va conseiller ร Pardaic de retrouver confiance en lui. Alors il va entrer chez Colm pour essayer d'avoir une conversation. Etrangement Colm lui rรฉpond. Il lui dit alors qu'ils se retrouvent au pub. Padraic est tout content. Il attend longtemps au pub. Personne ne vient. Il revient et voit sur le chemin Colm la main en sang, il s'est coupรฉ tous les doigts de la main qui lui restait. Siobhan qui รฉtait lร est abasourdie. Il est vraiment dรฉterminรฉ ร ne plus parler ร Padraic. Mais l'histoire ne s'arrรชte pas lร . Padraic a un รขne Jenny qu'il adore. Jenny a mangรฉ un doigt de Colm et est mort. Padraic fou de rage met le feu ร la maison de Colm. Siobhan est parti de l'รฎle pour un travail, son frรจre reste seul mais ne veut pas partir. Spoiler Alert! My feelings with my words, the story with my words. A sad comedy with a touch of the absurd. I liked it a lot, the storyline is original, with magnificent landscape shots. It's very well played especially Collin Farrell. It was very interesting, it shows the loneliness on the islands, the boredom. Padraic lives on a tiny island in Ireland with his sister Siobahn. He goes to the pub every day with his best friend Colm. But one day Colm doesn't want to go to the pub with him. He does not understand. Colm doesn't want to be his friend anymore because he doesn't want to hear Padraic's silly conversations anymore, he prefers to focus on his music to be remembered in 50, 100 years as Mozart. Padraic still doesn't understand, he's always been nice to everyone. He notices that it's April 1st, so he goes to see Colm to make him understand that he understood that it was a joke. But not Colm to be well understood threatened to cut his fingers every time Padraic came to talk to him. He will speak to her again a few days later (I don't really know) to tell her that it's nonsense. Colm cuts off his finger and throws it at Padraic's door. He will avoid him but it is very difficult for him, he is his best friend, and he has only him to talk to on this island. Dominic, a marginal will advise Pardaic to regain confidence in him. So he's going to walk into Colm's house to try to have a conversation. Strangely Colm answers him. He then tells her that they are meeting at the pub. Padraic is very happy. He's really determined not to talk to Padraic anymore. But the story does not end there. Padraic has an ass Jenny that he adores. Jenny ate a finger from Colm and died. A furious Padraic sets Colm's house on fire.
