Nouvelle synthèse alarmante du GIEC : Ce rapport nous rappelle l'urgence d'agir et c'est un euphémisme. L'objectif des accords de Paris de 2015 qui est de limiter le réchauffement climatique à +1,5°C en 2100 est IMPOSSIBLE à tenir. Nous sommes déjà à un réchauffement à +1,2°C, nous allons atteindre ce seuil dans les années 2030. C'est demain en gros. Chaque dixième de degrés compte. On se dirige vers un réchauffement climatique à +2,8°C en 2100. On court à la catastrophe. C'est la Vie qui est enjeu. En plus des petits gestes individuels il faut une action mondiale forte, un changement de société pour essayer de limiter ce qu'il va nous arriver. C'est l'exode de centaines de millions de personnes, des sécheresses à répétitions, des canicules de plus en plus longues et intenses, des famines, des pays qui vont devenir littéralement invivables. C'est juste une toute petite partie de ce qu'il va nous arriver. C'est la plus grande menace que l'Humanité a à surmonter. C'est terrifiant. J'ai très très très peur.

New alarming summary of the IPCC: This report reminds us of the urgency to act and that is an understatement. The objective of the Paris agreements of 2015, which is to limit global warming to +1.5°C in 2100, is IMPOSSIBLE to achieve. We are already at a warming of +1.2°C, we will reach this threshold in the 2030s. It's basically tomorrow. Every tenth of a degree counts. We are heading towards global warming of +2.8°C in 2100. We are headed for disaster. It is Life that is at stake. In addition to small individual gestures, strong global action is needed, a change in society to try to limit what will happen to us. It is the exodus of hundreds of millions of people, repeated droughts, increasingly long and intense heat waves, famines, countries that will literally become unlivable. It's just a very small part of what will happen to us. This is the greatest threat humanity has to overcome. It's terrifying. I am very very very scared.
