L'astronaute, (film français 2022) de Nicolas Giraud avec Mathieu Kassovitz. Vu en présence du réalisateur, je lui ai posé une question au micro (en savoir plus à la fin du texte). Film magnifique, poétique avec une bande-son incroyable, avec le réalisme nécessaire.
Jim Desforges est un ingénieur en propulsion de fusée. Il a été recalé à la sélection pour être astronaute, il a fini 3ème. Depuis 8 ans il vole des pièces à l'ESA (agence spatiale européenne) pour créer sa propre fusée. Il est déterminé, il connaît les risques 1 chance sur 3 qu'il meure au décollage. Son père est contre, sa grand-mère l'aide avec un ami (Bruno Lochet) qui lui a créé un carburant très puissant mais très instable. Il rencontre un ancien astronaute français. Jim lui explique qu'il fait un jeu-vidéo mais l'autre personne a compris qu'il voulait de devenir le premier homme à aller en orbite dans l'espace en amateur. Mais il a besoin d'un mathématicien pour calculer les trajectoires. On lui conseille un prof. Il est outragé, ne veut pas être mêlé à ça. Une étudiante se propose pour l'aider. Il refuse d'abord mais fini par accepter. L'ESA découvre le vol de pièces. Il ne lui reste que peu de temps. Il doit partir au plus vite. Les gendarmes arrivent et la fusée décolle. Les scènes dans l'espace sont sublimes ! Quand il libère les cendres de son grand-père car c'était le rêve de celui--ci, c'est magnifique. Le plan de la mise en place de la fusée sur le pas de tir, c'est tellement beau !
J'ai osé prendre le micro et je lui ai dit " la bande-son est magnifique, j'ai beaucoup aimé le côté réaliste et la poésie du film, la grâce surtout à la fin du film, c'est plus beau que Gravity ! Bravo !" Il a été touché par ce que je lui ai dit. Quand je suis parti et je suis passé devant lui, il m'a redit " c'est toi qui m'a dit... ça m'a vraiment touché !" C'était incroyable comme séance !

For 8 years he has been stealing parts from the ESA (European Space Agency) to create his own rocket. He is determined, he knows the 1 in 3 chance that he will die on takeoff. His father is against it, his grandmother helps him with a friend (Bruno Lochet) who has created a very powerful but very unstable fuel for him. He meets a former French astronaut. Jim explains to him that he is making a video game but the other person understood that he wanted to become the first man to go into orbit in space as an amateur. But he needs a mathematician to calculate the trajectories. We recommend a teacher. He's outraged, doesn't want to be involved in this. A student offers to help him. He refuses at first but ends up accepting. ESA discovers parts theft. He only has a short time left. He must leave as soon as possible. The gendarmes arrive and the rocket takes off. The scenes in space are sublime! When he frees his grandfather's ashes because it was his grandfather's dream, it's magnificent. The plan for setting up the rocket on the launch pad is so beautiful!
I dared to took the microphone and told him "the soundtrack is magnificent, I really liked the realistic side and the poetry of the film, the grace especially at the end of the film, it's more beautiful than Gravity! Cheer !" He was touched by what I told him. When I left and I passed in front of him, he told me again "it was you who told me... that really touched me!" It was amazing as a session!
